We can now offer our fresh bagels and cream cheese for catering on a limited basis! Please text 828-999-0486 for availability. Catering requests should be a minimum of $50. If you have a smaller request, reach out and we will see if we can accommodate your request.
Our Story
At Backwoods Bakery and Bagel Company, our passion for baking and serving others, comes from spending 25 + years in the restaurant industry. The owner later went on to pursue a degree in education teaching high school. Inspired by family, friends and many customers, she decided to start this business as a side hustle. Everyone loves our bagels and other baked goods, and we love the joy that sharing good things brings us each and every day and we strive to do the same for you!
Our Products
Our menu will consist of traditional bagel flavors, but will also be updated with new flavors throughout the year. We have multiple flavors of our whipped cream cheese available as well as desserts (coming soon). All of our products are made fresh to order and are available for purchase each Saturday at The Hickory Farmer's Market. The Farmer's Market it located under the sails in downtown Hickory, North Carolina.
